Louis Poulsen Keglen 175 Conical Suspension LED Lamp

Louis Poulsen Keglen 175 is a conical suspension LED lamp born from the artistic and technical collaboration between Louis Poulsen and designer Jakob Lange of the BIG Ideas studio. The project's ambition was to establish a systematic and coherent design language: Bjarke Ingels, Jakob Lange and the BIG team envisioned a family of lamps in different sizes, sharing the same aesthetic qualities and construction details while each retaining its own distinctive personality. The truncated conical shade in pulled aluminium houses a curved opal insert that casts an elegant, glare-free downward light, while the white interior ensures optimal reflection. A discreet, uniform opening at the top of the shade emits a soft upward glow, contributing to a refined and enveloping atmosphere. The diffuser is crafted from injection-moulded PC.

Perfectly suited for high-quality residential and contract environments, the Keglen 175 lends itself equally well to single installations and multiple compositions. Its 175 mm diameter makes it ideal for intimate, gathered light — a natural fit for the living room or the bedroom. The lamp features an integrated 5.5 W LED source with a colour temperature of 2700K or 3000K, powered at 220–240 V via an included driver. Dimming is achieved through a DALI system, also compatible with phase control and phase-cut mains dimmers. The protection degree is IP20 and the insulation class is Class I. The power cord — available in white woven or black woven finish to match the chosen colour — measures 4000 mm in length, and the canopy is included. The lamp measures 175 mm in diameter and 135 mm in height, with a maximum weight of 2.4 kg.
