Louis Poulsen Doo-Wop single Pendant Lamp

Louis Poulsen Doo-Wop is a pendant lamp with a timeless character, born from the collaboration between Louis Poulsen and the Navy Buildings Department. Its design draws inspiration from the New Look of the 1950s and is defined by a double reflector structure in aluminium: a conical internal reflector, painted white, directs a soft light downwards, while the external main shade helps distribute light both upward and downward, simultaneously creating an enveloping and uniform diffused glow. The interior of the main shade is also illuminated through an opening in the smaller conical reflector, adding depth and refinement to the overall lighting effect.

Thanks to its sophisticated aesthetic and the construction quality characteristic of the Danish brand, the Doo-Wop integrates elegantly into residential and representative environments. It is an ideal choice for the living room, where it enhances design spaces with warm and scenographic light, and works equally well in a refined bedroom setting. The lamp is available in several finishes — white, dark grey powder-coated, polished brass, copper and stainless steel — to suit a wide range of interior styles. Brass, copper and stainless steel versions feature untreated surfaces that may develop a natural patina over time, lending the product an even more authentic character; this process may already have begun upon delivery. The lampholder is E26-E27 type, compatible with LED or halogen light sources up to 60 W, and the input voltage of 100-240 V ensures full international compatibility (EU, USA, UK, Australia, Japan). The suspension system consists of a 3000 mm cable with a 2×0.75 mm² cross-section, with the ceiling rose included, a drawn aluminium mounting arm and stainless steel fixing systems. The shade measures 283 mm in diameter and 245 mm in height, with a maximum weight of 2.0 kg. The lamp is rated at IP20 protection degree and insulation class II.
