Bysted Bollard - Floor bollard with LED source for outdoor, with direct light emission downwards. Cast iron head, Corten steel pole and fixing plate. Available in versions with fixing plate or in-ground installation.
Read more ...Bysted Bollard was designed by Peter Bysted in 1975. The bollard won the second prize in an outdoor lighting competition held by Louis Poulsen. The idea was to position the screens to create an attractive design on the ground. The choice of cor-ten steel as a material was revolutionary for the time and is still an important component of the product's identity today.
Concept - The luminaire emits light directed downwards. The lower surface of the screens is painted white, to obtain an excellent light reflection and to produce a characteristic symmetrical light around the luminaire.
Materials - Luminaire head: die-cast iron. Pole and fixing plate: corten steel.
Assembly - Ground fixing systems: included. Looping connection: allowed, max 5x6mm². Terminal block positioning: pole head. Max installation cable: according to the junction box.
Weight - Maximum 44.5 Kg.
Source - LED 24W 3000K DALI + CLO
Class - Degree of protection IP65. Insulation class II. IK09.
Information notes - Pole for installing the fixing plate supplied without anchor bolts. Anchor bolts to be supplied locally. The oxidation of corten steel and cast iron gives it a rough and rust-colored appearance, to protect the material from further corrosion. The oxidation process of corten is faster than that of cast iron. Supplied with perforated bracket for the wall box. LED: CLO, integrated fuse and SPD as standard.
