AJ Oxford, indoor table lamp. Available in four tabletop versions with base and one with pivot without base. E14 bulb not included.
The AJ Oxford table lamp was specially designed by Arne Jacobsen for St Catherine's College, Oxford, to reflect the modernist style of the building which contrasts with the classical architecture of the University of Oxford. Every little detail of the lamp is highlighted, such as the brass screw that holds the shade in place or the elegance of the cable that is placed inside the black metal body. The first model proposed by designer Arne Jacobsen for the modernist college - which he himself designed - is the one with only the pivot, to be positioned and attached directly to desks and tables, such as the very long oak ones with 350 seats of the college itself. Over time, versions with a base were introduced: AJ Oxford is available in the Small or Large version, with a totally opal glass diffuser or with a black metal upper part.
Concept: This table lamp with diffused light will harmoniously illuminate any interior environment, whether residential or office. The version with opal screen will also ensure additional attractive brightness. AJ Oxford finds space on desks, shelves, tables and coffee tables. Contrasting, elegant, timeless style.
