Lodes MAP Tape for modular system

MAP Tape by Lodes is the conductor tape designed for the MAP modular system, the ceiling and wall lighting collection developed in collaboration with Berlin-based studio Geckeler Michels. Made from fabric with integrated conductors, the tape is stretched between the various modules of the system and continuously powers the entire composition, running through the body of each light point. MAP Tape is available in a maximum length of 8 metres, cuttable to size according to project requirements, with a protection rating of IP20 for indoor use.

The tape is the heart of the MAP system: it allows the free arrangement of light points across any space, enabling personalised compositions that evoke the constellations of a luminous map. Every composition comes to life through the tape, which connects Starting Point, Connection Point and Additional Point while always concealing the origin of the power supply. MAP Tape is compatible with all standard finishes of the system and represents an ideal choice for both residential and contract projects, whether in a living room or in more complex architectural settings. When the tape length between two light points exceeds 2 metres, it is necessary to purchase the Ceiling Bracket accessory separately to ensure correct tension throughout the system. For ceiling-to-wall compositions, the Corner Bracket accessory is available, allowing angled connections between the two surfaces. The tape dimensions are 5 x 800 cm. Please note that MAP Tape does not constitute a complete system: to finalise the installation, it must be combined with the other components of the MAP collection, such as the Starting Point, Connection Point and Additional Point.
