Lodes MAP Additional Point for modular system

Lodes' MAP collection is a new ceiling and wall lighting system that redefines the limits of modular lighting solutions. Created in collaboration with Berlin-based studio Geckeler Michels, the system balances dynamic design with excellent lighting performance. The hallmark of the project is a fabric tape, which is stretched between the various modules and powers the entire system, allowing the free arrangement of light points: like a map he recalls luminous constellations, MAP allows light points to be positioned, creating compositions that illuminate and decorate any space. Whether for residential environments or contract projects, MAP represents a tailor-made solution that responds to needs by defining the space.

From the starting module, which may or may not be luminous, the fabric tape equipped with specific conductors is stretched between the various light points and, passing inside the body of each module, feeds the whole system continuously, always hiding the origin of the power supply. MAP makes it possible to solve any critical design issues, such as low ceilings or the absence of light points on the ceiling, thanks to the possibility of connecting a specific starting module to the wall.

HOW TO COMPOSE MAP

Starting Point: For the correct composition of the MAP system, first of all the starting module must be chosen. The Starting Point is the light module, which is available in Triac or DALI protocols or in a non-light but only starting version.

- Starting Point Triac: Starting Point module with TRIAC dimming protocol. Available in standard finishes and with a choice of Medium (26°), Wide (55°), Lens (80°) or indirect light optics. By choosing this module as a starting point, up to 4 Additional Points can be connected, for a total of 5 lighting points (1x Starting Point TRIAC + max 4x Additional Points).

- Starting Point DALI: Starting Point module with DALI dimming protocol (remote driver). Available in standard finishes and with a choice of Medium (26°), Wide (55°), Lens (80°) or indirect light optics. By choosing this module as a starting point, up to 7 Additional Points can be connected, for a total of 8 lighting points (1x Starting Point DALI + max 7x Additional Points).

Connection Point: It is the non-luminous starting module, so it works as a blind point without a light source. It is used if you want to have the non-luminous starting point (e.g. on the wall). By choosing this module as the starting point, up to 4 Additional Points can be connected, for a total of 5 elements (1x Connection Point + 4x Additional Points).

Additional Point: These are the light modules that can be freely installed along the entire tape, always following the installation directions. In fact Additional Point works only when connected to either a Starting Point or a Connection Point. Available in standard finishes and with a choice of Medium (26°), Wide (55°), Lens (80°) or indirect light optics.

MAP Tape: Conductor tape with a maximum length of 8 meters. Available in standard finishes.

Ceiling Bracket Accessory: This is an accessory to be applied on compositions longer than two meters in length between one light point and another.

Corner Bracket Accessory: It is an accessory that allows corners to be made for ceiling-wall compositions.

ADDITIONAL POINT - Light modules for installation along the tape. Available in matte black, matte champagne or dark brown finishes, it is already complete with integrated driver and has the possibility of being able to choose the desired light temperature from 2700K or 3000K versions during installation, thanks to a switch in the lamp body. Additional Point works exclusively when connected to a Starting Point (Triac or DALI) or to a Connection Point via the tape.
