Kdln Mitos adjustable surface spotlight

Mitos by Kundalini is an adjustable surface spotlight designed by Greek designer Chris Basias, winner of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022. Its metal body, defined by clean geometric lines, reflects Basias's minimalist and contemporary vision, inspired by the myth of Ariadne and Theseus: just as a thread guides the Minotaur towards the light, the Mitos system unfolds along exposed cables that carry and distribute illumination throughout interior spaces. The spotlight features a GU5.3 lampholder for LED light sources up to 10 W, delivering direct, dimmable and adjustable light emission for precise control over the beam direction.

Thanks to its modular nature and the flexibility of the cable system, Mitos suits a wide range of settings: from private homes — design-led living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens — to contract environments such as shops, showrooms, art galleries and offices. Compatibility with 100–240 V input voltage, a protection rating of IP20 and insulation class III ensure reliability and safety for indoor installations. The distinctive exposed copper-finish cable is a defining feature of the project, lending every composition an eclectic and original character that enhances the surrounding décor. Please note that the driver, cables and GU5.3 LED bulb are not included and must be purchased separately, as they are essential components for the assembly and proper functioning of the Mitos system.
