Mitos, an architectural system to illuminate different indoor areas in a contemporary and minimal way. Designer Chris Basias wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022 with this splendid spotlight, for Kundalini: connected through a system of exposed cables and a driver, the Mitos light will pass through any interior environment in both domestic and contract settings. The Greek designer is inspired by the myth of Ariadne and Theseus for his creation where a thread guides the Minotauro to the light, to the way out. From here also derives the name of the spotlight, a great lighting design product. The adjustability and being connected through the copper-plated cable are characteristics that contribute to giving an eclectic look to any ceiling, enhancing the surrounding furnishings through the direct light emission - dimmable - as desired. Mitos is a creative lighting system, adaptable to various contexts such as offices, shops, showrooms and art venues including art spaces and museums, living rooms of modern homes, bedrooms and kitchens. The simple lines and geometric shapes that are a fixed and fixed point for Basias will be noticed in the internal areas, making the spotlights appear to hang from a thread that will hold them firmly, giving an original and minimal look.
