Kartell Bloom suspension lamp

The Bloom suspension lamp is the perfect example that a lamp whose lampshade is made of transparent thermoplastic can imitate the glow and sparkle of a crystal one. Bloom is composed of a tubular polycarbonate skeleton, covered with innumerable small double corolla flowers. The result is a lamp with the shapes and complexity of a single handcrafted piece. A series of light bulbs positioned in the internal skeleton diffuse the light beam through the petals, refracting on their faceted surfaces and releasing a spectacular play of a thousand reflections.
