Kartell A.I. chair

The Kartell A.I. chair is an icon of contemporary design by Philippe Starck, born from an unprecedented creative process: it is the first chair in the world designed entirely by artificial intelligence, developed in collaboration with Autodesk using computational design software. Guided by Starck's directions, the system optimised the seat to maximise comfort while minimising material and energy consumption. The result is an organic, sculptural form impossible to conceive through human thought alone. In 2020, the A.I. chair won the Red Dot Award as the first chair created entirely by artificial intelligence.

Made from recycled thermoplastic technopolymer with mineral filler and soft-touch treatment, the A.I. chair combines sustainability and tactile quality in a single product. With a total height of 81 cm, width of 54 cm, depth of 53 cm and seat height of 45 cm, it weighs just 3.9 kg. Available in 7 different finishes, it adapts elegantly to the living room, the kitchen or outdoor settings. Minimum order 2 pieces per colour, not sold individually.
