Karman Maoo table lamp

Karman Maoo is a table lamp designed by Matteo Ugolini for Karman, launched in 2023 as part of the Zoo collection. The lamp portrays a cat seemingly leaping off the surface to tease a little mouse enclosed in a luminous glass sphere — an irresistibly playful object that combines artisanal creativity with practical illumination. The kitten's body is crafted in matte white ceramic, while the glass sphere diffuses soft, enveloping light through a 5 W G9 LED source, with diffused emission and an input voltage of 220-240 V. The lamp is not dimmable and the bulb is not included.

Maoo suits a wide range of indoor settings, from the living room to the bedroom, as well as shelves, side tables, and desks, or as a statement piece in design-forward restaurants and venues. The lamp is available in five versions: two in the classic black or white ceramic cat finish, and three in coloured velvet in Turquoise, Orange and Fuchsia. Overall dimensions are 15x30x20 cm with a sphere diameter of 12 cm, ensuring a scenic yet compact presence. With a protection rating of IP20, Maoo is designed exclusively for indoor use. More than a lamp, it is a work of ironic art — an unmistakable signature of the Karman Zoo world.
