Karman Leda suspension led linear canopy

Karman Leda with linear canopy is a LED suspension lamp with a modular, jewellery-inspired design, created by Luca DeBona and Dario DeMeo in 2022 for Karman. Its structure consists of two or three pendants — true hanging necklaces — formed by alternating cylindrical bars and small spheres in anodized aluminum, while the integrated LED runs inside a silicone tube that diffuses light in a soft, uniform manner. The linear canopy, measuring 70×5×3 cm, gathers all the pendants at one end, while the other is anchored to the ceiling by individual off-center balls, allowing for personalised and asymmetric compositions.

Leda is designed to enhance indoor spaces with medium-to-high ceilings, bringing a discreet and contemporary elegance that suits both residential settings and contract environments such as hotels, restaurants and shops. It is the ideal choice for the living room, the kitchen or the bedroom, where the warm 3000 K light and diffused unidirectional emission create an enveloping and refined atmosphere. The system features an integrated LED with a power output of 2×14.4 W or 3×14.4 W depending on the chosen configuration, delivering a luminous flux of 2×922 lm or 3×922 lm respectively. The light source boasts a color rendering index greater than 90, reproducing the colors of the surroundings with great accuracy. The 0-10V dimmable function allows precise adjustment of light intensity, adapting the lighting scene to every moment of the day. The driver is included, the electric cable is black with a length of 3+3 m, and the input voltage is 100-240 V, with a protection rating of IP20 for indoor use only.
