Karman Gonzaga led suspension lamp

Gonzaga by Karman is a LED suspension lamp with a distinctive identity, designed in 2019 by Luca De Bona, Dario De Meo and Matteo Ugolini. Its inspiration comes from the Renaissance ruff collar, reinterpreted as a pleated zigzag aluminium disc housing a 13W integrated LED source at its centre, shielded by a transparent blown glass frame with reflective and anti-glare properties. The outcome is an minimal yet dynamic aesthetic, where the interplay of light and shadow created by the folded structure becomes a decorative element in its own right.

Gonzaga stands out for its exceptional versatility: with an IP65 protection rating, it is equally suited to indoor settings and outdoor spaces such as terraces and covered patios, while lending its elegance just as naturally to the living room or the kitchen. The height is adjustable up to a maximum of 208 cm and the lamp is tiltable, allowing considerable freedom during installation. The integrated driver enables dimming via trailing edge/leading edge phase cutting, compatible with 100–240V systems. The light emission is diffused, with a luminous flux of 1200lm and a colour rendering index CRI greater than 80, available in 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures to suit any atmosphere. Gonzaga is offered in two sizes: the Small version with a 45 cm diameter and 8 cm depth, and the Large version with a 59 cm diameter and 8 cm depth. The included canopy has a diameter of 120 mm. Both sizes are available in the finishes black, white and brass, ensuring a harmonious integration with a wide range of interior styles.
