Ingo Maurer Karat Blau Flat wall lamp

Karat Blau Flat by Ingo Maurer is the compact wall lamp from the celebrated 24 Karat Blau series, designed by Axel Schmid. Its acrylic shade encloses an ultra-thin gold leaf handcrafted in Japan, which filters the blue light and reflects a warm yellow-gold glow, creating an intimate and dramatic lighting effect of remarkable visual impact. The flat mounting with a slight gap from the wall gives the lamp an exceptionally slim profile, fully compatible with filament LED light sources.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and the refined quality of its light, the Karat Blau Flat is equally at home in corridors, restaurants and residential interiors. It makes an elegant choice for a living room or above a dining table, where its warm golden light sets a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. The lamp is available in two power supply configurations: the 230V version features an E14 socket with a maximum power of LED 10W, supporting filament LED sources in T20/25 tube and C35 candle shapes, with energy class A–G. The 125V version is fitted with an E12 socket, also rated at a maximum of LED 10W, and supports T6 tube and B11/C11 candle shapes. The package includes a plate with gold leaf and a lamp holder; the bulb is not included.
