The sensor integrated into the luminaire combines presence detection, daylight exploitation, 0-10 V dimming and Casambi control which adapts to various luminaires. When used with 0-10V dim-to-off LED drivers, it enables any lighting manufacturer to provide wirelessly controllable, sensor-equipped fixtures with minimal engineering effort. Devices equipped with a sensor only need to be connected to the mains. The result is greater occupant comfort and significant energy savings that meet the most demanding building energy codes.

Explanation of Casambi technology

Casambi technology involves a mesh network where all the intelligence of the system is replicated in each node and, in this way, creates a system without a single point of failure. In this type of fully distributed architecture, any unit can go offline and contact others when they come back online.
