IGuzzini Drop by Drop led Suspension Lamp with Diffused Light

The Drop by Drop lamp designed by Alfonso Femia for iGuzzini won the "German Design Award 2020" in the Excellent Product Design-Lighting category. The concept of this suspension stems from the idea of an object of light that seeks a constant relationship with the context in which it is located, in a search for balance between line and surface. The volume created by the lamp shows the ephemeral shape of water in the act of falling, while the light beam produced by the LED technology and the OptiBeam reflectors is differentiated on two different optics, for accent lighting and general diffused lighting. In terms of management, the DALI protocol ensures visual comfort and high efficiency both in the version with chrome finish for concentrated accent lighting and in the version with opal white finish for diffused light. Drop by Drop hardly wants to be alone, it anticipates or accompanies a rhythm, a sequence, drop by drop, moment by moment. Let it "fall" into space, suspend it in a playful and serious way.
