Helvar 905 Digidim DALI Single Output Router With Ethernet Connection Subnet

The 905 Application Controller uses an Ethernet connection (10/100 Mb/s) to control a local DALI network. Basic functionality is available immediately, with no programming required. The Helvar Designer software enables advanced configuration and functional programming of the router.

The system also offers energy saving functionality through occupancy detection and the use of daylight. Further automation can be achieved through scheduled events. If needed, a PC can be connected to the system for diagnostic and logging purposes, however PC control during day-to-day operation is not required, as all data is stored within the system itself. The elimination of a central controller ensures that no single point of vulnerability can cause the entire system to fail.

Key features

The controller supports up to 64 DALI devices and holds DALI-2 Single Master certification for DALI-2 lighting systems (control gear), not DALI-2 control devices. It features a built-in real-time clock and can be networked with other units to form large scalable systems, providing either local or central control depending on the requirements of the installation.

The 905 is fully compatible with Helvar application controllers and other home/building automation systems, supporting integration into larger building automation setups. It includes an integrated DALI power supply and a universal power input, features that simplify installation and ensure compatibility with electrical networks in different countries.
