Gufram MSCHF Cut Pratone is an exclusive decorative seat Limited Edition, born from the collaboration between Gufram and the American art collective MSCHF, created for the exhibition Industry Plants at Perrotin Gallery in New York. Taking the legendary PRATONE® — designed in 1971 by Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi, and Riccardo Rosso — as their starting point, MSCHF subverts its playful radicalism with a bold and decisive gesture: a sharp, surgical cut slicing through its iconic green polyurethane blades to expose the piece's raw, blood-tinted foam core. The sculpture stands 950 mm tall, measuring 1400 mm in both width and depth, with a net weight of 61 kg.

In CUT PRATONE®, this act of cutting becomes a conceptual operation that reactivates the provocative spirit of the original, inviting viewers to question the power of design as a tool for reshaping society. This creative dissection was performed just nine times, resulting in an exceptionally rare edition of only 9 pieces worldwide, each one singular and unrepeatable.
