Gufram Alvar chaise longue

Alvar is a reclining armchair in polyurethane covered in fabric, available in 6 colours. Alvar retains the lightness and versatility of the Sixties; after forty years he keeps his hippie attitude alive. With a radical design conceived and created by Giuseppe Raimondi, Alvar is one of the first products with which Gufram faced the challenge of producing modern furniture as opposed to the status quo of mannerist style furniture.

Alvar is proof of the resistance of a product that was already dynamic and fresh at that time, with organic lines, free from obvious frills.
