Foscarini Caboche Plus suspension lamp

The Foscarini Caboche Plus suspension lamp is an icon of contemporary design created by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto. Redesigned with new transparent polycarbonate arcs, an innovative attachment system and PMMA spheres that enhance light output, Caboche Plus takes a classic further. The light body consists of two painted steel plates housing a double-sided LED board, while an aluminium disc acts as a heat sink. The inner diffuser combines satin blown glass and satin opal glass; the outer diffuser is made of polycarbonate and polymethylmethacrylate. The chrome-plated metal frame is complemented by a transparent cable measuring 320 mm in height and a ceiling rose with a diameter of 160 mm. The diffuser finish is available in transparent or grey. The integrated LED source delivers a colour rendering index greater than 90, producing a diffused, enveloping light of exceptional visual quality. Protection rating is IP20 and insulation class is I.

Caboche Plus is offered in three sizes with distinct specifications: the small version (H190 × Ø 310 mm, 4.8 kg) features a 7W LED at 1000 lm and 2700K in On/Off mode. The medium version (H200 × Ø 500 mm, 10.2 kg) delivers 26W and 3200 lm, and is also available with an R7s lamp holder (max 60W, bulb not included). The large version (H280 × Ø 700 mm, 17 kg) provides 28W and 3850 lm. Medium and large versions are available in On/Off, Push/DALI, MyLight (Casambi) and MyLight Tunable White configurations, the latter allowing colour temperature adjustment from 2700 to 5000K via app or remote control. Cables of 10 metres and an electrical decentering kit are available on request. The perfect centrepiece for a refined living room or an elegant bedroom.
