Foscarini Birdie led wall lamp
Description
The wall-mounted version of the Birdie lamp combines a light and familiar sign with a strong character, resulting in a discreet yet recognizable piece of furniture. Designed to offer a diffused, enveloping light, it consists of a mounting plate and cover rose made of liquid-painted zamak, while the arm and diffuser support are made of steel, also liquid-painted.
The opal inner diffuser and translucent outer diffuser, both injection molded from polycarbonate, provide soft, even light. In the version with a touch dimmer, the sensor is located at the end of the arm, shaped like a slender twig ready to hold a little bird-a poetic detail from which the name “Birdie” is derived.
