Lunaire by FontanaArte is a wall and ceiling LED lamp of extraordinary circular elegance, designed by French designer Ferréol Babin in 2013. Inspired by the natural light of an eclipse, Lunaire features a metal structure composed of two concentric discs: a large concave aluminium reflector with a diameter of 75 cm and a smaller central disc housing the light source. The interplay between the two elements creates an ever-changing visual effect, turning the lamp itself into a striking sculptural object.

The defining feature of Lunaire is the manual adjustment of light emission: a simple gesture on the central disc — closed or open in relation to the larger reflector — completely transforms the quality of light. When the disc is closed, the result is a rear diffused light; when open, the light becomes frontal and reflected off the large concave dish, enhancing its luminous output. A front pin makes positioning effortless and intuitive. The integrated LED source of 28.6 W delivers a warm light at 3000K with a luminous flux of 3650 lm and a colour rendering index greater than 80, ensuring a natural and enveloping brightness. The lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use and operates at 220-240 V with insulation class II. Its clean, essential circular form makes Lunaire equally suited to residential and contract settings, perfect for enhancing the living room or the bedroom with a sculptural and contemporary design statement.
