Fontana Arte Kanji Suspension Dimmable led

Fontana Arte Kanji Suspension is a dimmable LED pendant lamp designed by Denis Guidone for FontanaArte, reinterpreting traditional oriental portable lanterns in a contemporary key. Inspired by Chinese porcelain from the Ming period, the lamp features a frosted colored blown glass diffuser embellished with a pleated surface decoration that perfectly imitates paper. The frame and ceiling rose — included in the package — are crafted in painted metal, available in white and black. An integrated LED ring runs inside the structure, bathing the diffuser in a warm and enchanting glow.

The Kanji Suspension is designed to enhance distinctive residential interiors where design and visual suggestion merge harmoniously. It is an ideal choice for the living room or the bedroom, equally suited to a single installation or to paired compositions, where its aesthetic impact is further amplified. The height is adjustable up to a maximum of 250 cm, adapting effortlessly to different ceiling heights. The Suspension 2 version features two integrated LED sources — 13W and 4W respectively — delivering a total luminous flux of 900 Lm + 450 Lm, with a colour temperature of 2700K warm white and a colour rendering index greater than 90, ensuring vivid and natural colour reproduction. The dimmable function allows the light intensity to be adjusted according to the moment's needs, while compatibility with input voltages of 100–240 V makes it suitable for a wide range of international contexts. The diffuser diameter is 31 cm, with a height of 51.3 cm. The IP20 rating and insulation class III confirm its safety for indoor use. The name Kanji refers to the Chinese-origin characters used in Japanese writing, an explicit homage to the cultural universe that inspires this collection.
