Fontana Arte Globo di Luce led suspension lamp

Globo di Luce is a FontanaArte LED suspension lamp, designed in the late 1970s by Roberto Menghi. Its concept rests on a principle of pure formal simplicity: a spherical diffuser in blown glass, finished externally in copper or chrome, encloses the light source within a perfectly resolved volume. Inside, a polished aluminium reflector enhances the light emission, while the metallic canopy — also included — completes a design of refined aesthetic coherence. The transparent power cable, 250 cm long, further contributes to the visual lightness of the piece. The lamp is compatible with LED light sources, with a socket type that varies according to the chosen size, and operates at a universal voltage of 100–240 V with insulation class II and IP20 protection rating.

Globo di Luce establishes itself as a luminous design object equally suited to high-end residential and retail environments. Available in three sizes — Small (Ø 20×19 cm, E14 socket, max 40 W), Medium (Ø 30×29 cm, G9 socket, max 60 W) and Large (Ø 45×43 cm, E27 socket, max 30 W) — it allows the visual impact to be calibrated to the space.
