Fontana Arte Giova Vase table lamp in blown glass

Fontana Arte Giova is a blown glass table lamp designed by Gae Aulenti in 1967, marking the celebrated designer's debut in the world of designer lighting. A hybrid between a luminous sculpture and a flower vase, Giova features a metal base supporting a transparent blown glass globe that encloses an inner sphere housing the light source; above it, a cup in pulegoso blown glass — distinguished by its irregular air bubbles — serves as a decorative vase. The lamp is available in Gold-Grey and Chrome-Pink finishes, complete with a black power cord, switch and plug.

Giova is a timeless design object that has achieved iconic status in the Italian lighting landscape, remaining one of FontanaArte's best sellers to this day. Its diffused light emission and the quality of its made in Italy blown glass make it an ideal choice for the living room or the bedroom, adding a sculptural touch of elegance. The lamp is available in two sizes: the medium version is compatible with an LED source of 1x 8.5W E27 (2700K, 806 lm) or a halogen source of 1x 46W E27 (2900K, 700 lm); the large version is suited to an LED source of 1x 14W E27 (2700K, 1521 lm) or a halogen source of 1x 116W E27 (2900K, 1800 lm). The E26-E27 lampholder accepts a universal input voltage of 100-240 V, compatible with the main international standards (EU, USA, UK, AUS, JAP), insulation class II and protection degree IP20.
