Fontana Arte Falena table lamp

Fontana Arte Falena is an iconic table lamp designed in the 1990s by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza for FontanaArte. Its design is defined by the meeting of anodized aluminum and glass: a thick, transparent circular glass base supports a curved aluminum rod, completed by a sandblasted glass screen enclosing the light source and flanked by rectangular fins on either side. These elements, simultaneously light and industrial in character, give the lamp a singular presence that complements a wide range of interior styles.

The Falena is fully adjustable: it can be rotated and oriented 360° from the base, while the lateral fins — reminiscent of outstretched wings — allow the direct light emission to be directed and reflected with great precision. This versatility makes it an ideal choice for the office or any environment where functional lighting with refined aesthetics is desired. The lamp features a GY6,35 lampholder at 12V, compatible with a halogen source of up to 50 W (not included). With a protection rating of IP20 and insulation class II, it is designed exclusively for indoor use. The Falena is not dimmable.
