Alicanto Wall by FontanaArte is a LED wall lamp with a striking contemporary design, created by designer Francesco Librizzi. Its name is drawn from Chilean mythology: the Alicanto is a nocturnal bird of the Atacama desert that, according to legend, feeds exclusively on gold and silver, making it unable to fly yet causing its wings to shimmer with golden reflections. It is this very image — a creature that illuminates the night, poised for flight yet firmly grounded — that inspired the lamp's form, defined by an elegant forward imbalance. The arched structure projects outward as if offering the light as far as possible. The base and stem are crafted in painted metal, while the diffuser is in hand-blown and etched glass, lending the piece an exceptional lightness and refinement.

Alicanto Wall delivers a direct and diffused light emission, perfectly suited to enrich the most carefully designed interiors. The integrated 9 W LED module provides warm light at 3000 K, with a colour rendering index greater than 90 for faithful colour reproduction. The lamp is fully dimmable and compatible with voltages from 100 to 240 V, making it suitable for worldwide use. The IP20 protection rating confirms its destination for indoor use. The power cable, plug and dimmer are finished in black; the power supply features interchangeable plugs.
