Flos Toio is one of the most iconic floor lamps in the history of Italian design. Designed in 1962 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, it originated from a revolutionary idea: transforming an automotive headlight imported from the United States into a lighting object with an industrial and experimental character. Today, Toio remains one of the most celebrated symbols of Made in Italy design and is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York.
