Flos Toio Led floor lamp

Flos Toio is one of the most iconic floor lamps in the history of Italian design. Designed in 1962 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, it was born from a revolutionary intuition: transforming a car headlight imported from the United States into a lighting object with an industrial and experimental character. Still today, Toio represents one of the most celebrated symbols of Made in Italy design and is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York.

The structure combines industrial materials and sophisticated details in a perfect balance between function and aesthetics. The stamped steel base supports the adjustable hexagonal stem in nickel-plated brass, while the famous car headlight reflector creates an intense and striking indirect light.
