Flos String Light Sphere and floor switch black

Flos String Light Sphere with floor switch in black is a diffused-light suspension lamp system designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos, redefining suspended lighting through a minimalist and architectural approach. The body is crafted in die-cast aluminium with a transparent soft-touch finish, while the 190 mm spherical optical diffuser is made from opal PC, producing a soft and enveloping light. The integrated 21 W LED light source at 2700 K (warm white) features an intuitive touch dimmer system activated by simply grazing the cable near the diffuser, allowing seamless control of light intensity.

This complete package includes a black sphere diffuser, a black floor switch — with internal storage for up to 10 metres of residual cable and support for a maximum of two heads — a 12-metre Kevlar-reinforced coaxial cable, and 5 hooks for wall or ceiling fixing, enabling a fully customisable cable path. The system is compatible with 100–240 V (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP) and rated IP20. Perfect for enhancing the living room or any design-oriented space where the lamp becomes a true architectural element. The floor switch operates at 120–277 V/48 V; the diffuser at 100–240 V/48 V with LED ARRAY 21 W 2700 K 1515 lm. A second diffuser is available separately as an accessory.
