Flos Parentesi is one of the most iconic symbols of Italian industrial design, conceived by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manù Caccia Dominioni. Its essential steel structure consists of a cable tensioned between ceiling and floor — spanning 4000 mm — along which a parenthesis-shaped tube slides, allowing the light source to be repositioned at any height with a gentle touch of the hand. This version is finished in black and includes an E27 R125 LED bulb, 11 W, with a colour temperature of 2700 K warm white and an average lifespan of 20,000 hours.

A true manifesto of the form=function principle, Parentesi won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and is today exhibited at the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale. Its direct light emission and exceptional vertical flexibility make it a refined statement piece for the living room or the bedroom, adding architectural character to any interior. The lamp is rated IP20, operates at 220-240 V, and is not dimmable in this LED configuration.
