Extraordinary, essential and ingenious, the Parentesi lamp by Flos is one of the most important icons of Italian industrial design. The name takes inspiration from a metal tube, the central element of the lamp, shaped in the shape of a parenthesis which is an indication of a great innovation since it allows the lamp to be moved with a slight pressure of the hand. A perfect lamp with few elements, characterized by the vertical movement of the lighting body, obtained by sliding a shaped steel tube on a steel cable stretched between the ceiling and the floor. Functional, simple and without superfluous, it is a manifesto of the form=function principle. Parentesi won the Compasso D'Oro in 1979, and today it is exhibited at the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale.

Buongiorno,
Non mi è chiara la differenza tra "Parentesi nera" e "Parentesi element" .
Grazie
Buongiorno,
l'element è solo il faretto aggiuntivo non è una parentesi completa .
