Flos Parentesi Doppia floor lamp nickel suspension

Flos Parentesi Doppia is one of the most celebrated icons of Italian industrial design: a floor and suspension lamp in nickel-finish steel, conceived by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, which revolutionized the concept of vertical lighting. Its central element is a metal tube shaped like a parenthesis, sliding along a steel cable stretched between ceiling and floor, allowing the light source to be repositioned vertically with a gentle touch of the hand. A true manifesto of the form=function principle, it was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and is today exhibited at the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale.

The Parentesi Doppia version includes two units — one Parentesi Nickel (F5400058) and one Parentesi Element Nickel (F5500058) — creating a striking luminous composition perfectly suited for the living room or high-ceilinged reception spaces. The system accommodates 2 LED light sources with E26/E27 lampholder (bulbs not included), with a 4000 mm cord and a diameter of 110 mm. The universal input voltage of 100–240 V ensures global compatibility. The lamp is non-dimmable and carries an IP20 protection rating, suitable for indoor use.
