Flos MAAP wall lamp

Flos MAAP is a wall lamp designed by Erwan Bouroullec for Flos, combining radical simplicity and inherent complexity in a single, characterful lighting solution. The lamp body is made of Tyvek, a lightweight, tear-resistant fibrous material that evolves over time: once freely crumpled by hand, it takes on unique and organic shapes, giving users complete creative freedom in defining its final appearance. The Tyvek casing is attached to the metal structure via large magnetic buttons (Dots), aligned with magnetic points at each LED light source, which also serve as an additional expressive detail. A circular wall-mounted back plate magnetically secures the lamp body, ensuring a clean and versatile installation.

MAAP delivers a remarkable visual impact: like a large cloud, it diffuses light across a wide surface with no single identifiable source point. Suitable exclusively for indoor, non-humid environments, it is ideal for enhancing a living room or any statement space with a sculptural lighting composition. Available in three configurations — MAAP W1 with 4 LED E27 15 W sources on a 1500x1500 mm surface, MAAP W2 with 8 LED E27 15 W sources on a 1500x2400 mm surface, and MAAP W3 with 12 LED E27 15 W sources on a 1500x3200 mm surface, all with a depth of 220 mm — the models can be installed horizontally, vertically or at an angle, and combined with one another to create articulated lighting compositions. The lamp is dimmable, compatible with 100-240 V input voltage, and features integrated EAC connectors for direct electrical connection.
