Flos Light Shadow Adjustable Trim 12 is a recessed LED spotlight by Flos Architectural, designed for high-end technical lighting with a radically innovative approach to glare control. Constructed in aluminum, this linear system integrates 12 LED sources with adjustable optics and a 22° beam angle, delivering direct, precise light with no unwanted dispersion.

Light Shadow's patented technology achieves a 45-degree cut-off, allowing the fixture to be positioned in an almost zenithal orientation without generating glare. This makes it exceptionally versatile in demanding architectural settings such as galleries, retail spaces, exhibition areas, and premium residential environments — including the living room and the office — where light quality is paramount. Its ultra-compact dimensions, with a width of 436 mm and a depth of just 69 mm, enable recessed integration even where ceiling space is minimal, requiring a mounting cutout of 63x433 mm.

The Adjustable Trim 12 model features a LED module with an absorbed power of 32 W and universal input voltage of 100–240 V, with driver included. It supports DALI dimming, enabling precise and flexible intensity control through advanced management systems. The LED source delivers a color rendering index of CRI 90, ensuring faithful color reproduction and superior light quality. Two selectable color temperatures are available: 2700K with a luminous flux of 3240 lm, and 3000K with 3420 lm, to suit different atmospheres and design requirements.

The adjustable optics allow the light beam to be directed precisely toward the surface or object to be highlighted, maximizing integration with the surrounding architectural elements. Total shielding and direct emission ensure a defined and impeccable beam, free from halos or lateral dispersion. The IP20 protection rating confirms its suitability for indoor environments.
