Flos In Vitro Ceiling outdoor lamp

Flos In Vitro Ceiling is an outdoor ceiling lamp designed by Philippe Starck for Flos Outdoor. Its body is crafted from die-cast and extruded aluminium, treated with a chemical conversion process to ensure effective resistance to atmospheric agents, and finished with a powder coating available in multiple colours: Anthracite, Black, White, Forest Green, Pale Green, Terracotta and Dark Brown. The lamp features an integrated LED light source with Edge Lighting optical technology, delivering perfect uniformity of diffused light across the entire surface, complemented by an internal opalescent diffuser and an external transparent borosilicate glass protective cover.

Designed for flush ceiling installation in outdoor settings, the In Vitro Ceiling is ideal for porticos, terraces, exterior entrances and façades, seamlessly combining refined aesthetics with high technical performance. Its IP66 protection rating makes it suitable for use in even demanding weather conditions, ensuring full resistance to dust and water jets. The light distribution is direct and symmetric, with a beam angle of 111°, providing broad and even illumination. The 13 W LED source delivers 714 net lumens at a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) and a CRI 80 colour rendering index, reproducing natural colours and a welcoming atmosphere. The driver is integrated, with 100–240 V input voltage compatible with major international standards (EU, USA, UK, Australia, Japan). The fixture measures 180 × 436 mm, with a base of 150 × 31 mm. DALI dimmable and 110 V versions, with a colour temperature of 3000 K or 2700 K, are available on request.
