Flos Gustave Residential USB Rechargeable Battery LED Lamp

Gustave is the first portable lamp made by Vincent Van Duysen for Flos, with nature adaptable to a series of different environments. The Residential version is suitable for private homes, while the Hospitality version (see Product Family) is more suitable for restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. In every place, the soft light of the lamp adorns the surfaces in a fascinating way, contributing to the atmosphere in the room. Versatile, distinctive and minimal, it was inspired by the iconic Adolf Loos table lamps and named after Monsieur Gustave H., the legendary concierge of Wes Anderson's masterpiece, Grand Budapest Hotel, and Van Duysen's favorite film.

CONCEPT - Gustave's exclusive optical system, patented by Flos, uses a series of asymmetrical emission lenses placed to distribute the light obliquely 360° around the lamp. In this way, an excellent ratio is obtained between the surface space occupied by the lamp and the large illuminated area, which boasts a uniform and high quality light. The lighting scheme has been expressly designed to provide perfect light and unbeatable visual comfort for tables of up to four diners.

RESIDENTIAL MODEL - The ideal companion for your home. Portable lamp with autonomous battery. Powered by "Button Type 18650 Li-Ion" batteries (2 units, included). USB-C charging cable (plug adapter not included) and LED indicator for charge and autonomy management. Charging time: 5-6 hours. Autonomy: 6h at 100%, 10h at 50%, 18h at 25%. 0-100% sequential adjustment via capacitive haptic button.

Sustainable Design: The lamp was designed to be future proof. All parts can be easily replaced if needed. The absence of screws or glues allows easy disassembly of the lamp for the replacement of individual components or for their correct disposal.
