Flos Gustave Residential USB Rechargeable Battery LED Lamp

Flos Gustave Residential is the portable battery-powered LED lamp designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Flos in 2022: a versatile, minimalist and elegant object inspired by Adolf Loos's iconic table lamps and named after Monsieur Gustave H., the legendary concierge of Wes Anderson's Grand Budapest Hotel — Van Duysen's favourite film. Standing 230 mm tall with an upper diameter of 155 mm, it features an integrated dimmable LED with a 145° beam angle, CRI greater than 90 and a colour temperature of 2700K or 3000K for warm, high-quality light.

The Residential version is the ideal companion for the home, perfectly suited to enhance a living room, a bedroom or even outdoor settings thanks to its IP54 rating. Flos's patented exclusive optical system uses asymmetric emission lenses to distribute light obliquely 360° around the lamp, providing uniform illumination for tables of up to four diners. Powered by two rechargeable Li-Ion 18650 batteries charged via an included USB-C cable (1200 mm; plug adapter not included), it delivers up to 20 hours of autonomy with 0–100% sequential adjustment through a capacitive haptic button. Its sustainable design allows full disassembly and replacement of every component without screws or glue, ensuring longevity and responsible disposal.
