Flos Emi Ceiling Small H240 is a ceiling lamp from the Emi collection, designed by Erwan Bouroullec for Flos Architectural. Born from the vision of bringing professional-quality lighting into residential and hospitality environments, Emi stands out for its clean, linear structure: a vertical tube in aluminium — partially recycled and fully recyclable — that generates a direct, concentrated beam of light. The Small version, measuring 240 mm in height and just 56 mm in width, is the slimmest in the ceiling range, designed for surface ceiling installation with a discreet and refined profile.

Thanks to its modularity, the Emi Ceiling Small can be used individually or combined with multiple units to create scenic and personalised lighting compositions, making it ideal for the living room, the bedroom, or hospitality spaces where visual comfort is essential. The anti-glare optics ensure maximum visual comfort, while the integrated 11 W LED source at a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) delivers a welcoming, high-quality light with a CRI 90 colour rendering index that reproduces colours faithfully and naturally. A luminous flux of 772 lm and a beam angle of 23° provide precise, directional illumination, ideal for highlighting architectural details or specific areas of a room. The driver is integrated and the fixture is available in an On/Off version or with a 1-10V dimming protocol, offering flexible control over light intensity. The IP20 protection rating and insulation class I make it suitable for indoor use, with an input voltage of 220–240 V. The sustainable design philosophy is reflected in its construction: the absence of glues and soldering simplifies disassembly, and each optical unit can be replaced individually, ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance.
