Flos Diabolo conical suspension lamp
Description
Pendant light with direct lighting designed by A. Castiglioni, composed of a ceiling rose and diffuser. Body in aluminium with external paint in 3 different colour options (shiny white, beaver brown, and cherry red), while the inside of the diffuser is shiny white. The diffuser may be moved vertically from 95 to 240 cm using the cable reel within the ceiling rose. The light source has an E27 socket.
Complete with lamp holder for 21W warm light LED bulb not included in the lamp. Designed in 1998 by Achille Castiglioni.
My father was a really, really good Diabolo player , says Giovanna Castiglioni, daughter of legendary Italian designer Achille Castiglioni. She s discussing one of his favorite pastimes.the juggling game, derived from a Chinese yo-yo, in which an hourglass-shaped object is spun back and forth on a string between two sticks. In 1998 the age-old balancing act served as inspiration for Achille s final collaboration with Flos.an adjustable pendant lamp with the same name.
