Flos Luminator Historical Floor Lamp

Luminator is an iconic floor lamp, designed by the Italian designer brothers Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1954, for Flos. A timeless, stylistically refined piece of furniture that won the international "Compasso d'Oro" award in 1955 for its original design.

Luminator is an indirect light floor lamp, whose light source is a reflector bulb. 1890mm high, it is composed of a tapered cylinder stem (painted with water-based paint) supported by three delicate metal legs. It is equipped with a dimmable function with a foot switch on the cable. Luminator is an object that lends itself to furnishing domestic or professional environments, and is suitable for combining with classic and modern styles, managing to enhance spaces and create welcoming and harmonious atmospheres. Originally created in a discreet anthracite finish, the iconic minimalist design is now updated with an all-new palette of vibrant pop colors.
