Flos Compass 90 Fixed Round Downlight 12V For LED Recessed Lamp

Flos Compass 90 Fixed is a round recessed ceiling downlight by Flos Architectural, designed for fixed-direction lighting with a direct symmetrical optic and a 10° beam angle, delivering a precise and concentrated spot effect. The recessed body is crafted in black painted metal, while the closing ring is made from die-cast aluminium alloy with a powder-coat finish available in white, grey or black. The lampholder features a die-cast aluminium heat dissipator, and a black thermoplastic anti-glare ring ensures controlled light emission with a shielding angle exceeding 25° in compliance with CIBSE LG3 (L<200 cd/m²). Fixing is achieved via stainless steel brackets.

This luminaire is compatible with MR16 QR-CBC 51 GX5.3 halogen lamps up to 50W as well as LED retrofit equivalents, powered at 12V AC via a GU5.3 lampholder. The mounting diameter is 80 mm for an overall diameter of 90 mm and a depth of 120 mm; the remote transformer is not included. Insulation class III and a protection rating of IP23 confirm its technical reliability. On request, an elliptical light distribution lens can be added, along with coloured filters — including blue, orange, fuchsia, grey, ochre and purple — or a GU10 100/240V direct mains connection without a power supply unit.
