Flos Caule Floor 5 outdoor lamp

Flos Caule Floor 5 is an outdoor floor lamp designed by Patricia Urquiola for Flos Outdoor, distinguished by the soft, supple design of its stem and the monolith head that emits a soft direct light. The stem structure and base are crafted in stainless steel to ensure efficient resistance to weathering, while the head is made of die-cast aluminium with a sandblasted glass protective screen for the light source. The integrated 10 W LED source is included, delivering a colour temperature of 3000 K warm white and a luminous flux of 480 lm, with a flood beam angle of 52° and symmetrical light distribution.

With its elegant and understated silhouette, Caule Floor 5 blends naturally into outdoor spaces such as gardens and terraces, adding a refined and discreet presence. The monolith head ensures high visual comfort thanks to the recessed position of the source and dedicated lenses that control light emission, preventing direct glare. The IP66 protection rating guarantees maximum resistance to dust and water. The lamp comes with a 5-metre cable suitable for outdoor use, featuring an IP44 Schuko plug and a backlit pedal dimmer switch rated IP65, enabling ON/OFF control and luminous flux adjustment. The driver is included and the product is compatible with 100–240 V input voltage. Main dimensions: total height 2800 mm, width 300 mm, base diameter 600 mm. Caule Floor 5 is available in six finishes — Anthracite, Black, Deep Brown, Forest Green, Grey and White — to suit a wide range of architectural and landscaping contexts. As the designer herself stated: "Caule is an outdoor collection with simple, understated lines yet a strong style identity. Evoking the botanical structure of a flower, the collection features a real flexible, slender stem that integrates into outdoor settings as a gentle, almost entirely natural presence." Versions with a light temperature of 2700 K or 4000 K are available on request.
