Flos Casting T 150 outdoor bollard

Flos Casting T 150 is an outdoor bollard designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Flos Outdoor, featuring a T-shaped profile with a clean, architectural geometry. Made of extruded aluminium, with base and diffuser in EN AB-47100 die-cast aluminium with low copper content, the product stands out for its construction quality and resistance to environmental factors: after a sandblasting treatment, the external coating is applied with a double layer of powders according to the QUALICOAT standard, where the first epoxy layer provides chemical and mechanical resistance and the second ensures protection against UV rays and atmospheric agents. The glass diffuser is glued to the heatsink to guarantee water tightness, and the product comes with a neoprene cable outlet.

Designed to enhance driveways, gardens, terraces and outdoor spaces with directed, high-quality light, the Casting T 150 is ideal for residential and contract outdoor applications. Its T-shaped form clearly reveals the intended direction of light emission, which is direct asymmetrical with a 50° beam angle: a precise optical choice, suited to illuminating surfaces, pathways or landscape features with uniformity and glare control. The 21 W LED source with a colour temperature of 3000 K warm white and a CRI 80 colour rendering index ensures natural colour reproduction and a welcoming atmosphere. The driver is included and the product is compatible with input voltages of 100-240 V, making it suitable for installations across Europe, the USA, Australia, the UK and Japan. The IP65 protection rating and insulation class II ensure reliability and safety even in adverse weather conditions. The Casting T 150 is available in three height versions — 250 mm, 500 mm and 850 mm — with a width of 150 mm, to suit different contexts and compositional scales. To ensure the longevity of the fixture, the use of a connection system with a protection degree equal to or greater than that of the luminaire is recommended, along with the installation of a surge protection device on the electrical system, selecting the most suitable device based on the characteristics of the installation.
