Flos Biagio table lamp

Flos Biagio is an iconic marble table lamp designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1968, now a landmark of Italian design history. The lamp body is carved from a single block of white Carrara statuary marble, handcrafted into sinuous, sculptural lines of extraordinary refinement. Inspired by the expressive potential of the material, the design explores anthropomorphic forms that blur the boundary between luminous object and decorative sculpture, with a weight of approximately 7.5 kg that speaks to the piece's solidity and preciousness.

The Flos Biagio is inherently unique: the natural patterns and veining of the marble vary from one piece to another, making each example one of a kind. The smooth surfaces gleam beautifully in daylight, while the veins reveal unexpected depth and relief when the lamp is lit.
