265 SMALL - New version 2022 of the historic wall lamp, with adjustable body, in a smaller proportion. Reflector, arm and wall attachment in painted steel, reflector support in brass. Available in the three classic finishes Chromatic, White, Black.
265 Small is the latest replica of the historic 265 by Paolo Rizzatto, the wall lamp that seems to defy gravity with its multi-angle swivel head and long adjustable swing arm. It was originally conceived for Flos in 1973, when the Milanese architect first devoted his experience to lighting, and it was a democratic design imagined for a traditional standard-sized room. The latest version boasts the same original style, features and function with new compact and more versatile proportions thanks to a shorter arm, which fits into spaces of any size and style. In its original version the lamp is a tribute to the color in the painting, in fact it had a primary color chosen ad hoc: the head, the most important element, was drawn in red, the weight was yellow and the connecting arm blue. It was then finally produced in more subdued shades and, although it is normally available in black and white, the original chromatic proposal has entered the Flos catalog.
It is a simple lighting, a suspended wall lamp composed, essentially, of a head and a weight that balance each other on both ends of an adjustable arm. Simply move the link arm to the area you want to illuminate, and you can rotate the head 360° to adjust the illumination angle. Today, 265 Small offers a versatile, contemporary and more agile lighting solution than ever, providing clean and direct light in any direction and in any space.
Concept: Direct light emission wall lamp. Adjustable arm and reflector in painted steel. Reflector support in chromed brass. Iconic counterweight in cast iron. Light source not included.
