Driade Venus sideboards

The Driade Venus sideboard is an extraordinary piece of furniture designed by Fabio Novembre and produced by Driade, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2023. Just like the iconic Venus bookcase from 2017, this sideboard also portrays the statue of the goddess Venus, embodying a seamless fusion between art and design: the beauty of art meets the indispensable functionality of contemporary design.

The Venus sideboard is crafted from 25 mm thick medium-density wood fibreboard, featuring a front panel composed of two hinged doors with a 45° bevel and a movable internal shelf, alongside two full-extension drawers with a 45° bevel. The push-pull opening system for both doors and drawers ensures a smooth and refined user experience. An open compartment houses a white reconstituted marble sculpture, further enhancing the aesthetic value of the piece. Available in two matt lacquered colours — traffic black and wine red — both finishes feature a mirror-finish floor plinth with adjustable levelling feet. Measuring 182 cm in width, 86.5 cm in height and 50 cm in depth, this sideboard is the perfect statement piece for the living room.
