Driade Acate is a freestanding brass coat hanger designed by Borek Šípek for Driade, a decorative accessory that seamlessly combines practicality with sculptural artistry. Crafted entirely in brass — with a matt brass structure and polished brass leaves — Acate takes the form of a poetic tribute to nature: three gnarled branches that embrace and intertwine, adorned with carefully modelled leaves that serve as elegant hooks for bags, jackets, and accessories. Standing at a total height of 1760 mm and weighing 16 kg, the piece commands attention with remarkable presence and solidity.
