DCW Poudrier is a wall lamp by French manufacturer DCW, inspired by the discreet elegance of a powder box or a precious case. Crafted in steel with a gold finish, this wall light combines aesthetic refinement and mechanical ingenuity in a compact form — 172 mm wide, 195 mm tall and 55 mm deep — that integrates seamlessly into any interior setting. Light is evenly diffused through a thick glass panel, creating soft, enveloping illumination that fills the space without becoming intrusive.

One of Poudrier's most distinctive features is its manual light control system: rather than a conventional electronic dimmer, the light intensity is regulated by a mechanical shutter that opens or closes according to preference, allowing a physical and tangible interaction with the light source. The polished brass element inside, functioning as a rotating mirror with a visible hinge, reflects light intelligently to enhance the sense of space and brightness. Originally conceived for the bathroom — thanks to its IP44 protection rating, which makes it suitable for humid environments — Poudrier also proves its versatility in hallways, entrances and transitional spaces, where it adds warmth and sophistication.
