DCW Poudrier wall lamp

Poudrier by DCW is a wall lamp that evokes the elegance and delicacy of a powder box or a precious box, with a design that combines functionality and aesthetic refinement. The mechanical action of opening and closing, reminiscent of familiar gestures associated with objects of beauty or everyday use, gives a feeling of familiarity and comfort. This mechanical simplicity makes the object intuitive and immediately comprehensible, so that interaction with it becomes almost natural. The light, evenly diffused through a thick sheet of glass, creates a soft, enveloping illumination that fills the room without being invasive. The polished brass element inside, which serves as a revolving mirror, adds a note of luxury and functionality: the mirror, integrated with a visible hinge, intelligently reflects light, enhancing the feeling of space and brightness.

A particularly interesting feature is the manual control of the light: instead of a classic dimmer, the light intensity is regulated by a mechanical shutter that opens or closes according to preference.
