In 1921, the designer Bernard-Albin Gras designed a series of lamps for office use and industrial environments, giving birth to a truly historic interior lighting collection that remains to this day. This in particular is the Lampe Gras 215 model, which is an adjustable, simple and ergonomic floor lamp with a circular base. The floor lamp is made up of a fixed rod and a movable arm on a rod which can also be moved in height along the longer rod thanks to the joint that connects the parts of Lampe Gras. Furthermore, the conical diffuser is also adjustable, available in thirteen different finishes on a black steel structure.
The designer Gras patents these lamps for functional use in contract and work environments, given their easy adjustability. In doing so, Gras attracted the attention of supporters such as Le Corbusier who made use of these lamps in some architectural projects. Lampe Gras - model 215 - is appreciated both in the residential sector as well as in living rooms, bedrooms, bookcases and studios, work and relaxation areas and in the contract sector. Timeless design product, 20th century icon, lamp that directly illuminates any room and favorite corner, in a vintage and elegant way.
